Finsa Bikaneri papad

The small print,
kept small.

How this website handles your information, what it is published under, and how supply, delivery and returns actually work with us. Written in plain English because nobody reads the other kind.

01

Privacy.

This website does not track you. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no embedded video, no web font served from somebody else's domain and no social widget. Every file the page loads comes from this domain, which means no third party learns that you visited.

What is stored on your device

Nothing. This site sets no cookies, writes nothing to local storage, and keeps no record of your visit in your browser. There is no consent banner on this page because there is nothing to consent to.

What happens when you send an enquiry

The enquiry form on the contact page does not post to a server. It validates what you typed and then hands the completed message to your own email program, addressed to us. You send it yourself, from your own address, and you can see exactly what is going before you do.

That means what we receive is an ordinary email: your name, your business, your phone number if you gave one, and what you wrote. We keep it in order to reply to you and to quote for your order. We do not sell it, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass it to anyone outside the business.

Asking us to delete it

Write to [email protected] and ask, and we will remove your enquiry and contact details from our records. There is nothing to unsubscribe from because there is nothing you were subscribed to.

02

Terms of use.

This site is published by Bikaneri Finsa Agarwal, Bikaner, Rajasthan, India. Using it means accepting the following, which is short.

The content

The words, the brand name, the logo and the product photography on this site belong to Bikaneri Finsa Agarwal, except where an image is licensed from a third party. You are welcome to link to any page. You are welcome to quote us, with attribution. You may not republish the product copy or photography as your own, and you may not use our name or mark to represent goods that are not ours.

Accuracy

We keep this site current and we will still get things wrong occasionally. Nothing on a web page overrides what is printed on a pack, and nothing here is a contract. Prices are not published on this site at all, so no page on it constitutes an offer.

Links out

Where we link to WhatsApp or to an email client, you are leaving this site and whatever terms apply there are theirs, not ours.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of India, and any dispute belongs to the courts at Bikaner, Rajasthan.

03

Supply and delivery.

We sell to shops, wholesalers, caterers, canteens and distributors. There is no online checkout on this site and no consumer cart, so everything below describes how a trade order actually gets agreed.

How an order is agreed

  1. You tell us what you sell, roughly how much of it, and where you are.
  2. We send a rate list with pack sizes, case counts and prices for the items you asked about. Usually the same working day.
  3. Samples go out before a first order, so nobody commits to a line they have not tasted.
  4. You confirm quantities. We confirm the despatch window in writing before anything is packed.

What is agreed per order, not here

Pack sizes, case counts, prices, freight, despatch timing and payment terms are settled for each order and confirmed in writing. We do not publish them because they genuinely vary with quantity, distance and the format you sell in, and a made up number on a web page would only have to be corrected on the phone.

Freight

Goods usually travel by road transport from Bikaner. Whether freight is included or paid at your end, and which transporter is used, is agreed when the order is confirmed.

04

Shortages and returns.

Food that arrives damaged, damp, short or wrong is our problem, not yours to absorb. Here is how we handle it.

Check the consignment on arrival

Open the cartons and count them before you sign off with the transporter. A shortage or a crushed carton noted at delivery is straightforward to settle. The same shortage raised three weeks later is a matter of trust rather than evidence, which helps nobody.

Tell us within seven days

Call or email within seven days of delivery with the batch code printed on the pack, the invoice number, and a photograph of the problem. Batch codes exist precisely so a complaint can be traced to a day of production.

What we will do

  • Replace the affected stock on the next despatch, or credit it against your account
  • Trace the batch at our end and tell you what we found
  • Settle transit damage with the transporter ourselves where the freight was ours

What we cannot take back

Being straight about it: we cannot accept returns of stock that simply did not sell, or of pouches that have been opened, stored badly or kept past the best before date printed on them. Papad and bhujia take on moisture, and once a pouch is open we have no way of knowing what happened to it.

05

Product information.

The product pages on this site describe what each item is, how it is meant to be cooked and what it goes with. They are deliberately not a substitute for the pack.

The pack is authoritative

The full ingredient declaration, allergen information, net weight, batch code, best before date and FSSAI licence mark are printed on every pouch and carton. If anything on this website ever disagrees with what is printed on the pack in your hand, the pack is correct and we would like to know about the discrepancy.

What this site does not publish

  • Nutrition figures, because the range has not been lab tested
  • Health claims of any kind
  • Shelf life, which is printed per batch
  • Net weights and case counts, which are quoted per order

Allergens

Everything we make is vegetarian, with no egg and no animal fat. Beyond that, read the declaration on the pack. If you are buying for a canteen, a school or a caterer and need something confirmed in writing before you order, ask us and we will put it in writing rather than leave you guessing.
